DAY 1 - UROS FLOATING ISLANDS & TAQUILE ISLAND Your adventure begins at 7:00a.m. with hotel pickup in Puno and transfer to the port. Uros Floating Islands After a 30-minute boat ride, you will arrive at the famous Uros Floating Islands, handmade islands built entirely from totora reeds. Here you will learn about the fascinating traditions anddaily life ofthe Uros community, interact withlocal families, andenjoytimetoexploreandtakephotos. Taquile Island Next, we continue with a 2-hour scenic boat ride to Taquile Island, known for its well-preserved culture and extraordinary textile traditions recognized by UNESCO. You will enjoy aguided walk around the island (approximately 1 - 1.5 hours, including a moderate uphill section) and visit a local family. Afterwards, experience an authentic traditional lunch prepared by the island community, while enjoying spectacular views of Lake Titicaca. Floating Lodge Experience After the visit to Taquile, you will transfer to another boat that will take you to your exclusive floating lodge located on an Uros island. Spend the afternoon relaxing and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere of the lake. Optional activities include a traditional totora reed boat ride around the lodge. In the evening, enjoy a regional dinner and an unique overnight stay surrounded by the tranquility of Lake Titicaca. DAY 2 - SUNRISE ON LAKE TITICACA Wake up to a beautiful sunrise over the lake and enjoy a delicious break fast at the lodge. After breakfast, check out at 9:00a.m. and take the boat back to Kalapajra Port, located about 25 minutes from the main square of Puno. End of the experience.
