To visit Peru and tourist destinations such as Machu Picchu and the Inca Trail, you must carry your original passport, which is your valid travel document. Copies are not accepted for official procedures.
A tourist visa is required for visitors from certain countries, including parts of Asia and India. Travelers from Europe and many other countries generally do not require a visa for short stays, although policies may vary. We strongly recommend checking with your local Peruvian embassy or consulate before traveling.
Your passport must be valid for at least six months from your travel start date. If you renew your passport after booking, please bring both your old and new passports. This is necessary for Machu Picchu tickets and Inca Trail permits, which will be issued with your original passport details.
Permit policy: Inca Trail permits and Machu Picchu tickets are limited and issued in your name. They cannot be changed, transferred, or refunded. Group size: Our treks are conducted in small groups to ensure a personalized experience. Private tours are also available upon request. Acclimatization: We recommend arriving in Cusco 2-3 days before your trek to adjust to the altitude and ensure the best experience.
Once your booking is confirmed, you will receive: Packing list: A detailed list for trekking in the Andes. Travel tips: Information on altitude, local customs, currency, and safety guidelines. Briefing session: Held in Cusco before your trek to review the itinerary, meet your guide, and check your equipment.
