DAY2: Amazon Adventure - SandovalLake, Canopy Walkway & Hidden Forest Rise early for a delicious buffet breakfast at 5:30AM, then journey along jungle trails toa tranquil stream that leads to Sandoval Lake, a serene horseshoe-shaped oasis within the Tambopata Reserve. Here, marvel at iconic species such as the endangered giant river otter, red howler monkeys, red-bellied macaws, anacondas, black caimans, and more. Return to the lodge for a hearty lunch before your next adventure: the Hanging Bridge experience. Stroll across a network of suspended walkways and observation platforms, over 30 meters above the forest floor, for a breath taking view of the canopy and its wildlife, including toucans, woodpeckers, monkeys, and three-toed sloths.
