The tour begins with hotel pickup. The first place to visit will be the Cusco Cathedral, which houses valuable colonial artistic treasures, such as paintings from the renowned Cusco School and works by various religious sculptors. Qoricancha (Temple of the Sun), where we can appreciate the fusion of Inca constructions (with perfectly polished stone walls). Sacsayhuamán, where we will see enormous stone blocks of up to 40 tons perfectly placed one on top of another. Our guide will explain the importance of this site before the arrival of the Spanish and during colonial times, as it witnessed one of the greatest battles between the Incas and the Spanish. Qenqo (Labyrinth), named for its pathways that give the impression of being inside a maze. The most important feature here is an ancient ceremonial table, believed to have been the final resting place of Pachacútec. Next, we proceed to: Puca Pucara (Red Fortress), an important control center for people entering the city of Cusco during Inca times. Tambomachay, the last site we will visit, where we can still admire the Incas’ advanced hydraulic engineering.

We will pick you up from your hotel at 5:00 a.m. and take private transport to the train station located in the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Along the way, you will enjoy views of majestic snow-capped mountains and farmlands. After about 1.5 hours, we will arrive at Ollantaytambo to board the train to Km 104 (Chachabamba at 2,200 m.a.s.l.), where we will begin the ancestral Inca Trail. Here we will visit the archaeological sites of Chachabamba and Choquesuysuy, hidden in the semi-tropical forest. We will hike up the mountain, enjoying spectacular flora and fauna. After approximately three hours of hiking, we will arrive at Wiñay Wayna (2,650 m.a.s.l.), a beautiful Inca construction. We will continue toward Inti Punku (Sun Gate), overlooking Machu Picchu. Overnight in Aguas Calientes.

After breakfast at the hotel, we will take the bus to Machu Picchu (2,450 m.a.s.l.), approximately a 30-minute ride. At the scheduled time, you will have a guided tour of about 2 hours through the Inca citadel, visiting the most important areas. You will have free time for photos. Finally, we will return by bus to Aguas Calientes, then take the train back to Cusco.

We will begin the Sacred Valley tour by picking you up from your hotel at 7:00 a.m. in private transport. We will visit Pisac, where you will see impressive agricultural terraces and explore local crafts. At midday, we will enjoy a gourmet lunch in the Urubamba Valley. Afterward, we will visit Ollantaytambo, a strategic control site and fortress. Finally, we will visit Chinchero, known for its agricultural terraces and traditional textiles. The tour ends around 6:30 p.m. in Cusco.
